Job summary

CFS is seeking a dedicated Payroll Manager to lead U.S. multi-state and Canadian payroll for 5,000+ employees. This 100% remote role aligns with Central Time Zone business hours and focuses on accurate processing, compliance, and Dayforce system optimization.

You will coach the payroll team, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and drive payroll processes and controls in a large multinational environment, with a competitive base plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including extensive U.S. multi-state and Canadian payroll experience supporting 5,000+ employees.
• 3+ years of direct payroll team leadership within a large organization; strong systems troubleshooting skills; Dayforce experience highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree required; CPP certification a plus; demonstrated career stability and progressive leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. multi-state and Canadian payroll operations for a large, geographically dispersed workforce.
• Oversee payroll processing, accuracy, compliance, and issue resolution across multiple jurisdictions.
• Troubleshoot Dayforce challenges following a recent implementation and drive system improvements.
• Manage, coach, and develop payroll team members while strengthening processes and controls.
