Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll and workforce management experience.
• Strong full-cycle payroll experience with compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and payroll taxes.
• Experience in a complex, multi-location organization; healthcare payroll preferred.
• Experience with Workday and ADP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle, end-to-end payroll for affiliated entities, including processing and distribution.
• Oversee timekeeping and scheduling, ensuring accurate time records and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and inquiries.
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Develop reporting and workforce metrics to support leadership decisions.
