Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Analyst to own accurate payroll processing and vendor payments across all cycles. You will sit at the heart of our finance operations, ensuring employees and vendors are paid correctly and on schedule, with strong controls and clean GL reconciliation.

In this fully remote role based in the United States, you will support audits, maintain vendor data, and optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on payroll and/or accounts payable experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and wage-and-hour compliance.
• Solid understanding of AP processes, GL coding, and accrual accounting fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with a payroll platform and an ERP/accounting system.
• Strong command of Google Sheets and Excel.
• High degree of accuracy and discretion with confidential payroll and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing across all pay cycles.
• Calculate, reconcile, and remit payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions.
• Manage the full accounts payable lifecycle, including invoices and payments via ACH, check, and wire.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices to PO and receipts.
• Maintain vendor master data and prepare annual 1099s.
• Reconcile payroll and A/P subledgers to GL and prepare journal entries.
