Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Payroll & Tax Analyst to support payroll tax compliance, gift tax reporting, and special payroll projects across corporate and shop employees. You will partner with the Senior Manager, Payroll & Compliance to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll or payroll tax experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Workday or ADP.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll and/or payroll tax experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Fundamental knowledge of payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with payroll processing cycles and related inquiries.
• Familiarity with Workday, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Intermediate Excel skills and data reporting ability.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll tax compliance, gift tax reporting, and ad hoc payroll projects.
• Assist with payroll setup, filings, amendments, reconciliations, and notices.
• Prepare and review payroll tax reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized records for audits and internal reviews.
• Provide cross-functional support to HR, Finance, and external vendors.
