Job summary

Motive is seeking an experienced Sr. Payroll Analyst to manage payroll operations for the US, Canada, and select international locations. You will partner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate processing, compliance, and timely reporting using ADP and related systems.

In this role you will drive process improvements, handle year-end activities, and support RSU payroll items, while delivering exceptional service to employees across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of payroll experience with U.S. and international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or equivalent systems.
• Experience with GL reconciliations and payroll reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivots) and payroll reporting familiarity.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end semi-monthly payroll for the US and Canada; backup for international payrolls.
• Review payroll data, timesheets, and inputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll issues.
• Support Accounting with payroll GL inquiries; prepare and reconcile payroll-related journal entries and reports.
• Generate payroll reports for tax, benefits, overtime, and related metrics.
• Assist with year-end activities like W-2 distribution and international filings; RSU payroll items.
