Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll processing experience in HR or payroll department.
• Solid knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, deductions and confidentiality.
• Proficient with payroll software and MS Excel for data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify timekeeping for all employees.
• Calculate pay including leaves and overtime.
• Compute bonuses and commissions when applicable.
• Manage taxes and deductions with accuracy.
• Process periodic payments via checks or direct deposits.
• Issue statements and maintain payroll records.
• Update payroll data for changes in status or pay rates.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports for supervisor review.
