Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a part-time Payroll Processing & 401(k) Administrator, remote in Michigan. After training, you’ll commit to about 2 hours per week with a predictable Monday–Wednesday payroll schedule and payroll processing for roughly 105 employees using Paychex Flex and John Hancock.

You’ll review attendance, wages, deductions, PTO, submit payroll by deadlines, and coordinate corrections with HR and the Controller.

Qualifications

• Prior payroll processing experience, ~1+ year.
• Basic Excel skills including simple formulas.
• Experience with Paychex, ADP, or similar payroll platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for ~105 employees via Paychex Flex.
• Review attendance, wages, deductions, PTO, and payroll exceptions.
• Submit and release payroll by Monday/Tuesday deadlines.
• Coordinate payroll corrections with HR and final confirmation with the Controller.
• Review 401(k) files and approve payments through John Hancock.
