Job summary

Doeren Mayhew, a tax, assurance and advisory firm, seeks a part-time Payroll Packager for our Grand Rapids, MI office. Work Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:30am-4:30pm, with potential up to 5 days weekly in December and January.

Responsibilities include processing client payrolls, generating reports, setting up direct deposits and aiding the payroll team. The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and payroll processing experience, with knowledge of Asure software or

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two to four years of payroll processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Asure software or ability to become proficient quickly.
• Excellent phone service and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payrolls weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly per client schedules.
• Create and distribute payroll reports and set up direct deposits.
• Assist payroll processor with packing payroll packages.
• Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and verified on time.
• Prepare GL reports and communicate payroll data to clients.
• Learn and train clients on Asure software.
