• Proficiency with Rails, Rust, Blockchain and related day-to-day development tools.
• Experience designing and shipping payments infrastructure at scale is valued.

Responsibilities

• The Aptos Payment API: spec, ship, and run the single API that partners integrate against.
• Partner-facing engineering: requirements intake, integration leadership, and technical diligence with banks, EMIs, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, and e-wallet platforms.
• Trust infrastructure: KYC/KYB integration, revenue attribution, and a testnet sandbox for prospect testing.
• Integration with the trading stack: define API contracts between payments and trading systems and enable seamless handoffs to clients.
• Hire and lead the initial engineers; decide build-vs-buy strategies and document memos at gates.
