Job summary

Ottimate is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Payment Solutions & Enablement Specialist to help new customers launch VendorPay. You will serve as the payments expert throughout implementation, with a focus on reducing time to first payment and driving adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, payment operations, SaaS implementation, customer enablement, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the payment enablement experience for new VendorPay customers from implementation through early adoption, accelerating time to first payment and early payment adoption.
• Partner with Implementation and Onboarding teams to establish a clear path to first payment and ensure customers progress toward launch.
• Lead customer education and consultative sessions on VendorPay capabilities, payment workflows, and best practices.
• Identify and remove operational, product, or customer barriers that could delay a customer’s first payment.
• Monitor early payment activity and proactively engage customers to accelerate transaction volume and adoption.
• Help customers progress toward the payment volume and Virtual Card opportunities identified during sales and implementation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across Virtual Card, ACH, and Check payment workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex payment scenarios and coordinate with Payment Operations, Product, Engineering, and other teams to drive resolution.
• Establish criteria for transitioning launched and ramped customers to ongoing Payment Operations support.
• Identify trends across implementations and develop repeatable playbooks, processes, and educational resources to improve time-to-value for future customers.
• Provide customer and operational feedback to Product and Engineering to reduce friction and improve VendorPay experience.
• Leverage data, AI, and automation to improve implementation efficiency, identify adoption opportunities, and scale customer enablement.
