Merck is seeking a Payment Specialist in Rahway, NJ to review contracts, set up payees, and manage budget schedules in accordance with contractual terms. You will initiate site payments, process reimbursements, and ensure timely routing for approvals while handling inquiries from internal and external customers.

The role requires strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within a matrix environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of payment processing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Review all executed contracts and set-up payees and budget schedule per contract.
• Initiate site payments according to policies and guidelines.
• Process site payments for visits, milestones, and pass-through expenses following GAAP and SOX.
• Route and track payments for approval promptly.
• Answer queries about payments and budgets.
• Maintain information in databases or tools.
• Organize, store, and retrieve contracts and payment docs.
• Coordinate records management with sponsor groups.
• Develop and maintain data summary and reconciliation reports.
