Informa TechTarget's Payments Dive in New York seeks a sharp, experienced Reporter to cover the payments industry, including banking and technology. You’ll produce daily briefs and feature stories, breaking news, and enterprise reporting.

You’ll build beat knowledge, work with editors and sources, edit staff work, attend conferences, and contribute to the newsletter. The role reports to the Lead Editor and requires strong writing and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

Contribute excellent news stories to Payments Dive and the daily newsletter; collaborate on assignments and editing.
Identify key industry storylines we can own and pitch standout pieces on breaking news.
Track analytics to gauge reader engagement and influence coverage.
Collaborate with the Payments Dive team on editorial projects and longer-term features.
Edit stories and the newsletter, attend conferences, and meet sources when needed.
