Job summary

Informa TechTarget is seeking a sharp, experienced Reporter to provide timely, insightful coverage of the payments industry for Payments Dive, including breaking news, enterprise reporting and in-depth features. You’ll produce daily briefs and articles, build sources, and develop a beat in the financial services sector.

The role reports to the Lead Editor and requires strong writing, reporting, and digital storytelling skills in a fast-paced newsroom.

Qualifications

• Track record of strong writing and reporting in business/fintech.
• Ability to interpret financial reports, SEC filings, and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or English; 3+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute excellent news stories to Payments Dive site and daily newsletter.
• Identify key industry storylines we can own.
• Pitch and execute standout pieces on breaking news in the industry.
• Track analytics to gauge reader engagement.
• Collaborate with Payments Dive team on projects.
