US Acute Care Solutions is seeking a Payment Application Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payment posting by resolving discrepancies between Athena and USACS systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and payers to maintain data integrity and support financial accuracy.

The role is remote, with responsibilities including processing unpostable items, contacting payers for missing information, and applying remittances to patient accounts.

Qualificações

• Experience with Health Insurance Websites/Portals
• Experience with Financial Records to resolve missing payments
• Proficient in review of Explanation of Benefits and Posting
• Prior experience in payment processing or revenue cycle management
• Experience communicating with payers to obtain missing information required

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Athena team to identify and resolve duplicate or misrouted payment items via CRM
• Assist in balancing third-party collection vendor accounts for reconciliation
• Communicate with payers to obtain missing information required for payment posting
• Promote secure EFT/ACH payment methods via typical processes
• Post paper remittances and ERA files from Payor Web Portals into Athena accurately
• Monitor and document payment posting trends to drive improvements
• Apply payments to correct patient accounts and claims
• Perform additional duties as assigned and support team objectives
• Meet or exceed production and quality targets
