Sentara Health is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer to identify new policy-related cost savings opportunities for SHP. You will analyze data insights, solicit SME input, and present findings to drive growth within reimbursement policies and savings delivery.

The role requires multi-project management, strong Excel skills, and experience with healthcare claims data and policy development. Remote work options are available for eligible states and remote schedules.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Bachelor Level Degree (Preferred).
• 3 years Health plan experience or 3 years Medical coding, required.
• 3 years Health plan claim auditing or appeals, preferred.
• BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Research & assessment of internal payment policies to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Determine strategies to achieve savings such as policy development, authorization criteria & contract strategy.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to deliver payment initiatives and policy development.
