UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Manager, Advisory Services to lead day-to-day strategy consulting engagements for payer clients. You will shape engagement structure, assign workstreams, and mentor junior team members to deliver high-impact solutions.

This remote-friendly role requires 2+ years in health-care strategy, strong project management, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically. Minneapolis area in-office presence four days a week may apply.

Formación

• 2+ years of external client/customer-facing experience in strategy and management consulting or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in health care (payer or life sciences).
• 2+ years of experience using industry strategy frameworks in a payer or life sciences setting.
• 2+ years of experience with project management and presenting to C-suite executives.
• 1+ year mentoring junior staff.
• Proven analytical reasoning and solution-focused problem solving.
• Ability to travel domestically, up to 50% when required.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as overall day-to-day engagement manager across strategy and transformation engagements.
• Diagnose client issues and determine analyses to develop solutions.
• Determine analytical approach and structure for engagements and workstreams.
• Build consensus among stakeholders and aid in implementation.
• Coach team members and review work for quality and accuracy.
• Act as main client contact and maintain executive communication cadence.
• Delegate work to meet client timelines and monitor use of resources.
• Apply deductive and inductive thinking to client problems.
• Provide subject matter expertise to other Optum Advisory Services units.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrate relationship management and handle challenging situations.
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
