Job summary

Optum is seeking a Solution Consulting & Payer Advisory professional who will serve as a payer SME and trusted advisor. The role bridges payer solutioning, implementation execution, and operational delivery at scale, delivering repeatable outcomes across multiple payer clients.

Responsibilities include end-to-end implementation leadership, collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations, and driving standardization and risk management to reduce cycle time and improve value

Qualifications

• Payer operations background in healthcare or related tech is preferred.
• Experience in solution consulting or program management is desirable.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as payer SME, shaping solution designs for payer models.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering to align solutions and platforms.
• Lead end-to-end payer implementations from kickoff to go-live and hand-off to support.
• Identify risks, dependencies and drive mitigation across multiple teams.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, repeatable, and aligned to Optum capabilities.
