Job summary

Inovalon Inc. is seeking a Professional Services Manager to lead complex client engagements within the Payer Business Unit, driving adoption and value of Inovalon SaaS solutions.

This role blends healthcare expertise with strong communication and project leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery. You will work with health plan clients to understand Quality/HEDIS and Risk Adjustment goals, navigate regulatory requirements, and maintain HIPAA compliance while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of health plan Quality/HEDIS and/or Risk Adjustment program delivery experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and issue-management skills; client-facing is preferred.
• Experience in professional services or consulting for payer customers is preferred.
• Ability to translate goals into effective use of Inovalon solutions and services.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to explain complex healthcare, regulatory, product, operational, and data concepts.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, billing, reimbursement, and payer data concepts.
• Snowflake or SQL experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage concurrent client Professional Service engagements across the company’s Payer product portfolio.
• Act as client-facing point of contact for all Quality/HEDIS, CMS Stars, and Risk Adjustment activities within assigned client engagements.
• Understand customer goals, workflows, and needs and translate them into effective use of Inovalon solutions and services.
• Actively manage outstanding issues, risks, and dependencies; engage internal partners; drive issues to resolution; manage expectations.
• Develop and maintain industry, regulatory, and solution expertise related to Quality/HEDIS, CMS Stars, and Risk Adjustment; contribute to education and best practices.
• Identify growth opportunities based on client needs and partner with sales, implementation, customer success, and other internal teams.
• Demonstrate leadership, accountability, sound judgment, and collaboration in engagements and internal partnerships.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences.
