Job summary

Inovalon is seeking a Professional Services Manager to lead complex engagements for the Payer Healthcare unit. This client-facing role combines healthcare expertise with strong communication, analytics, and relationship-management skills to drive Quality/HEDIS, CMS Stars, and Risk Adjustment outcomes.

You will manage multiple concurrent engagements, collaborate across teams, and translate customer needs into effective use of Inovalon solutions, while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of health plan Quality/HEDIS, CMS Stars, and/or Risk Adjustment program delivery experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and issue-management skills with stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience in professional services or consulting focused on payer customers is preferred.
• Ability to translate customer goals into effective use of solutions and services.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Snowflake and/or SQL experience is a plus; proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensively manage concurrent customer Professional Service engagements across the company’s Payer product portfolio.
• Act as client-facing point of contact for Quality/HEDIS, CMS Stars, and Risk Adjustment activities.
• Translate customer goals, workflows, and needs into effective use of Inovalon solutions and services.
• Manage outstanding issues, risks, and dependencies; drive resolution and align expectations.
• Develop industry, regulatory, and solution expertise related to Quality/HEDIS, CMS Stars, and Risk Adjustment.
• Identify growth opportunities and partner with sales, implementation, and customer success teams.
• Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and collaboration in engagements and partnerships.
• Communicate complex healthcare, regulatory, product, and data concepts clearly to technical customers.
• Apply analytical and organizational skills; work independently with multiple priorities.
• Maintain compliance with Inovalon policies and HIPAA requirements.
