Job summary

Hologic, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager of Payer Relations and Contracting for the West Region, fully remote. You will lead contracting strategies with national and regional payers, LBMs, IDNs, IPAs, and Medicaid plans to maximize value and patient access.

The role requires 8+ years in healthcare with diagnostics/biotech, 5+ years with Medicare/Medicaid, strong negotiation and contract knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration with Clinical, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of healthcare experience in a diagnostic/biotech setting or with health insurers/consulting.
• 5+ years working with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payers on contracting.
• Strong knowledge of payer contracting language, terms and structures.
• Proven track record in achieving annual contract targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead contracting strategies with national and regional payers, LBMs, IDNs, IPAs, and Medicaid plans.
• Negotiate optimal reimbursement rates and contract terms for sustainability and access.
• Cultivate relationships with payer executives and policy decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Clinical, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
• Manage assigned accounts and identify growth opportunities in access and reimbursement.
• Maintain records of payer interactions and contracting activities.
