Job summary

Pharmacosmos Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Southwest.

This field-based role will be remote from a home office and require extensive travel to oncology clinics, hospitals, and IDNs within designated geography to improve payer access for our iron metabolism products. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in payor reimbursement and patient services, with strong relationship-building in health systems and oncology practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with payor reimbursement and patient access pull through.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships in health systems and oncology clinics/practices.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively educate provider offices on Patient Services at the regional level in targeted accounts by strategically prioritizing high utilization accounts.
• Develop understanding of each account’s revenue cycle management workflow to build cross-functional relationships that support patient access to Pharmacosmos’ products.
• Assist customers in the Patient Services enrollment process using approved user guides and marketing collateral.
• Partner with targeted hematology/oncology practices and regional health systems to track status of customer co-pay claims to ensure timely payment and 100% adjudication.
• Act as the subject matter expert on payer access and reimbursement by educating customers on Regional and National Payer coverage issues, coding changes and appropriate claims submission processes.
• Integrate state step therapy exception request forms into revenue cycle process for relevant accounts.
