Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking a Manager of Payer Relations, Contracting & Credentialing to advance our payer strategy, negotiate contracts, and oversee credentialing across markets. You will partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Clinical Operations to improve access, reimbursement, and compliance while supporting growth.

This remote role reports to the EVP of Revenue Cycle Management and requires strong negotiation, relationship management, and multi-state licensing expertise to build

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health management, or commensurate experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managed care contracting and provider credentialing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hospital and/or payer negotiation and payer analysis experience.
• Knowledge of fee-for-service and/or fee-for-value reimbursement methods and credentials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare data systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational relationship owner for assigned health plans and payer partners.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with payer representatives and contracting teams.
• Establish a structured payer engagement cadence for high-impact relationships.
• Identify payer issues affecting access, reimbursement, or claims processing.
• Lead contract negotiation and rate strategy in collaboration with EVP and Finance.
• Oversee credentialing, recredentialing, enrollment, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
