Allara seeks a Payer Contracting Specialist to accelerate payer contracting and expand access nationwide. You will manage provider data, respond to payer escalations, and document solutions to prevent repeat issues. The role touches contracting, credentialing, revenue cycle, and policy interpretation.

This early-career position offers breadth across payer processes with a clear path to more complex payer relationships, all in a remote, U.S.-based environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in provider data management, revenue cycle, denials, payer operations, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
• Internship or adjacent RCM experience counts
• Genuinely self-directed and able to manage own queue
• Interest in understanding payer policy and root causes
• Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and dates
• Comfortable on the phone with payers and persistent
• Strong with spreadsheets and learning new systems
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity in a remote-first environment
• Documentation mindset to codify learnings

Responsibilities

• Own provider data integrity across every system and keep payer records current
• Audit payer directory listings and chase corrections until live
• Reconcile rosters against payer records on a recurring schedule
• Serve as the go-to for enrollment and provider-data escalations
• Research and interpret payer policy and locate key documents
• Document every learning as a durable internal reference
• Support contracting and credentialing: submit and track payer applications, assist with follow-ups
