Job summary

Tribunus Health is seeking a Payer Contract Analyst to provide robust scenario modeling and reimbursement insights across multiple accounts. You will analyze hospital and professional data to inform negotiations, monitor contract performance, and adapt to industry trends.

Experience in hospital contract analytics is essential. The role offers flexible location with remote work options and hubs in Charlottesville, VA, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in payer-related roles within the provider or insurance industry, including at least 3 years in net revenue reimbursement modeling, financial analysis, and performance computation.
• Hospital contract modeling experience required; ability to build reimbursement logic from contracts and work in models you didn’t write.
• Proficiency in contracting analytics to inform decisions and compare provider value.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience building and manipulating Contract Modeling tools and pulling data from online databases.
• Strong project management, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong internal customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Contract & Scenario Modeling: translate contract language into expected reimbursement and build flexible models.
• Training and Support: serve as expert resource on hospital and professional reimbursement methodologies.
• Data Vendor Lead: manage relationships with data vendors and communicate updates.
• Strategic Data Utilization: analyze contracts and historical reimbursements to inform strategy.
• Performance Monitoring: validate payer rate loads and analyze variances.
• Market & Policy Research: monitor payer policy updates and quantify impact.
• Cross-Functional Support: assist leadership on ad-hoc projects and update tracking systems.
