Job summary

United-Digestive is seeking a Patient Service Representative to manage scheduling for appointments, procedures, and endoscopy block times. You will handle patient information, respond to Portal requests, and coordinate care with physicians, ensuring HIPAA compliance and smooth communications.

The role requires 2-3 years in a related field, strong customer service, and basic Microsoft Office skills; a CMA and bilingual ability are valued. Remote work flexibility within the Metro area is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CMA preferred.
• 2-3 years in call center, eCW, specialty clinic or gastroenterology.
• Proficient computer literacy; able to operate healthcare systems and Office apps.
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly while delivering quality patient care.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments and procedures.
• Maintain physician schedules and endoscopy block times.
• Collect and record accurate patient information per guidelines.
• Handle patient portal and website requests efficiently.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and participate in staff meetings.
