Axia Women’s Health is seeking a Patient Scheduler to support patients remotely, schedule and modify appointments, and provide high-quality service.

The role emphasizes caller handling, registration, copay collection, insurance verification, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.

A High School Diploma and 1–2 years of customer service are required; remote work, full-time benefits, and competitive hourly pay offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Call Center experience preferred, but not required.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel), email and internet research.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and Insurance Payors.
• Medical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred; EHR experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients politely when answering calls and responding to inquiries.
• Review and manage recall appointments and no-show/cancellation reports.
• Route calls to appropriate personnel via direct transfer, paging, voicemail, or redirection.
• Retrieve and route messages from the answering service.
• Register new or existing patients and activate files.
• Collect copayments and record them accurately.
• Provide financial guidance on claims and billing inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and communicate benefits clearly.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Document patient encounters accurately.
