Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Two years of scheduling/billing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong database systems skills and ability to follow payer/government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones in a timely and professional manner and notifies referring offices of appointment details.
• Schedules patient examinations across modalities and updates appointments as needed.
• Collects, enters, and verifies patient data and insurance information for billing.
• Participates in unit and hospital education programs to maintain skills.
