Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist to support multiple clinics in Louisville, KY. Training is on-site for four weeks, then remote work is possible with a hybrid schedule.

The role focuses on inbound/outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records with a high standard of service. Responsibilities include accurate data capture, guiding patients through procedures, and ensuring timely communication with clinic staff while upholding HIPAA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls for multiple clinics with standard greetings and closures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient focus.
• Verify and capture patient demographics, insurance, and medical information.
• Schedule appointments using the electronic system per clinic protocols and urgency.
• Resolve patient questions and problems promptly and effectively.
• Provide information on appointment details, location, parking, and guidelines.
• Escalate health concerns per division guidelines and connect to resources as needed.
• Create patient charts and maintain accurate records in electronic databases.
