Responsibilities

• Reviews and corrects errors on charges before claim submission.
• Investigates and verifies insurance coverage and eligibility for past charges.
• Documents detailed benefit verification information.
• Reviews accounts for missing or incorrect insurance information and makes corrections.
• Attaches PCP referral and authorization approvals to charges before claim submission.
• Answers Insurance Verification inquiries to resolve issues for patients and departments.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
