Job summary

• Attaches PCP referral and authorization approvals to charges before claim submission.
• Answers Insurance Verification inquiries to resolve issues for patients and departments.

• Investigate and verifies insurance coverage and eligibility for past charges.
• Documents detailed benefit verification information.
• Reviews accounts for missing or incorrect insurance information and makes the appropriate corrections.
• Attaches pcp referral and authorization approvals to charges before claim submission.
• Answers Insurance Verification inquiries to resolve insurance issues for patients and clinical departments.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience.
• Experience navigating insurance portals.
