The position offers remote work after a 30–90 day in-person training period, with a focus on accuracy and HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hospital revenue cycle experience preferred.
• 1 year general customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits through portals, calls, and resources.
• Enter eligibility data and patient responsibility into EMR.
• Coordinate with billing and coding to ensure accurate claims processing.
• Communicate with patients and providers to resolve benefit issues and obtain required authorizations.
