Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Remote Based Patient Advocate to guide uninsured hospital patients through the Medicaid and financial assistance process. This full-time, work-from-home role follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

The advocate will screen patients for eligibility, help complete applications, and maintain documentation across hospital and Elevate PFS systems while delivering empathetic, compliant service.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Adaptability when dealing with changing processes and government programs.
• Experience with state and federal programs.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients to determine eligibility for federal/state medical or disability assistance.
• Complete applications and follow through until approved.
• Document cases accurately in Elevate PFS and hospital systems.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain workflow by managing patient accounts.
