Job summary

Transformations Care Network is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate to serve as the primary contact for patients regarding billing statements, balances, and payment options. You will answer calls, explain charges, and help set up payment plans in a patient-friendly manner.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working in physician billing or revenue cycle roles.
• Experience explaining insurance benefits to patients.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems during calls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls about billing statements and balances.
• Explain charges, deductibles, coinsurance and patient responsibility clearly.
• Review accounts in NextGen PMS for balance interpretation.
• Set up standard payment plans according to policy.
• Process secure payments and provide receipts or confirmations.
