Javara Inc. is seeking a Patient Engagement Specialist to support recruitment and enrollment for active clinical research projects. This fully remote role involves empathetic patient outreach, symptom follow-up, and accurate documentation in electronic systems.

Ideal candidates are CMA/RMA certified with strong medical terminology knowledge and excellent communication skills. You will work with clinical teams to ensure patient safety and data integrity in a remote, HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and hands-on clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Seek to improve the patient’s experience through warm, empathetic, and professional phone communication while prioritizing participant safety.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to prospective participants to support recruitment and enrollment efforts for active clinical research projects.
• Follow up with enrolled study participants on reported symptoms and maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Monitor and assist patients with e-diary completion, following up promptly on missed entries or technical questions.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, study participants, clinical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships with internal teams and research staff to ensure smooth study recruitment and participant retention.
• Ensure data integrity and record detailed patient information accurately within tracking systems and electronic tools.
• Adhere to SOPs, HIPAA, and relevant protocol guidelines.
• Escalate patient concerns or protocol deviations to clinical leads and project managers.
