Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Patient Educator to empower patients and caregivers navigating Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis (PDP). You’ll educate about PDP, guide access via ACADIA Connect, and collaborate with PAMs to ensure coverage and affordability, while engaging with neurology and TC teams across the US territory.

The role involves extensive travel (up to 75%), a strong emphasis on education, and partnership with cross-functional teams to improve patient outcomes and adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, psychology, or related healthcare field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years pharma experience; patient education, patient navigation, advocacy preferred.
• Knowledge of neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders preferred; PDP experience desired.
• Strong empathy and ability to build relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver disease state education to patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate coverage, reimbursement, and affordability with PAMs.
• Collaborate with neurology and long-term care sales teams.
• Provide feedback to marketing to improve patient engagement.
