Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Supervisor, Patient Care (SPC) to lead and support Patient Care staff, ensuring service quality and adherence to performance metrics. The SPC disseminates information, monitors workload, and guides staff through changes in processes and client expectations.

The role requires healthcare/pharmacy operations experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage daily staff activities while collaborating with agencies. Remote-friendly with travel ~5%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• CPhT preferred
• 2 years’ experience in a managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment
• Call center experience preferred
• Direct leadership or coaching experience preferred
• Pharmacy claims/benefit experience preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy practices preferred
• Support compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others

Responsibilities

• Meet daily workload standards by managing staff and scheduling to support goals
• Remove barriers to achieve department goals
• Review client transitions and volume changes; ensure scripts/resources are clear
• Share information promptly with staff
• Confirm staff understanding through feedback and observation
• Lead and support department staff daily
• Set and enforce quality metrics for staff
• Monitor quality of staff performance
• Coordinate training and development needs
• Manage disciplinary processes per policies
• Document training, reviews, and feedback with Specialists
• Coach and develop staff to achieve results
• Coordinate with staffing agencies and updates
• Escalate calls and department issues promptly
• Triage service and technical issues to resolution
• Direct pharmacist staff involvement as needed
• Ensure tools and resources are up to date for staff
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing software and related tools
• Ability to travel 5% of the time
• Other duties as assigned
