Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service in a clinical setting.
• 1+ years of EMR experience.
• Full-time 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri, with possible overtime; onsite in Worcester, MA.
• Must live within commutable distance to Worcester area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Verifies demographic, insurance and other patient information.
• Handles patient-care related phone inquiries per queue and metrics.
• Prioritizes urgent needs and notifies providers as needed.
• Educates patients on managed care plans and referrals.
• Manages and maintains patient schedules and visits.
• Communicates appointment changes to patients and providers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
