Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hospital/physician back-end revenue cycle experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies payment details and saves back-up as needed.
• Researches, validates and adjusts payment postings to resolve accounts.
• Initiates payer recoupments, refunds, and patient refunds where applicable.
• Navigate payer claim portals and understand payer functionality.
• Communicates effectively, orally and in writing.
• Operate computers and office software; read screens and documents in English.
