Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Roseville, Minnesota, is seeking a Temp Patient Responsibility Coordinator to guide patients through funding and reimbursement, explaining benefits and out-of-pocket costs while delivering excellent service by phone, email, and text. The role involves high-volume calls, reviewing benefit information, and addressing questions about coverage, deductibles, and EOBs.

It is a fully remote, contract position through December 14, 2026, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in healthcare, insurance, benefits administration, billing, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of health insurance terminology, including EOBs, deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket expenses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable spending the majority of the day on the phone with customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CRM systems, account management, or data entry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate benefit coverage and financial responsibility information to customers.
• Explain coverage details, eligibility, deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, and reimbursement information.
• Serve as a primary phone resource for individuals and stakeholders with questions regarding benefits and funding.
• Review and analyze benefit information to identify available options and next steps.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and account activity.
• Respond promptly to inquiries received by phone, email, text, chat, and other communication channels.
• Utilize CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and internal databases to manage accounts and records.
• Track and maintain departmental metrics related to productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and documentation requirements.
• Support process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve department goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
