Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator I for a 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday 8–5 position. This role is remote within Washington State, performing patient pre-arrival tasks, scheduling, referrals, and data collection to support accurate and timely encounters.

You will deliver customer service, register patients, collect copays and demographics, and coordinate with care teams while upholding privacy and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years in customer service or administrative support, preferably in healthcare.
• Epic training required within two weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments in Cadence and/or OpTime.
• Coordinate care with other services and minimize access delays.
• Process incoming referrals and triage calls to appropriate resources.
• Send MyChart invitations and collect/update demographic data for reimbursement.
• Inform and collect signed consent, process copays and balances, and maintain privacy.
