Job summary

Valeris is seeking an Executive Care Coordinator to support patients navigating access to complex medications. You will manage casework, educate providers on benefits, and maintain detailed reimbursement records.

Strong communication, medical terminology knowledge, and HIPAA-compliant practices are essential. The role emphasizes building relationships with patients, prescribers, and client stakeholders, while guiding them through payer processes and program eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) required.
• Degree in healthcare administration or related field strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare access delivery or management strongly preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in insurance reimbursement, patient access, direct patient care, and/or patient education will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Certifications such as PACS, CHES or CCM are welcomed.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.
• Remote work eligibility may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with patients, prescribers, and client stakeholders regarding reimbursement inquiries and challenges.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to patients, caregivers, specialty pharmacies and healthcare professionals.
• Provide personalized case management to patients and HCPs including outbound communication to convey benefit coverage and next steps for coverage/access.
• Educate HCP offices on Payor processes and program eligibility.
• Document all activities in the Lynk system with detailed records of reimbursement activities.
• Ensure on-time adherence to training deadlines and corporate policies.
• Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.
