Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or related healthcare service.
• Experience with health insurance plans including eligibility, coverage and authorization processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Processes orders from referral sources.
• Assesses patient needs upon arrival.
• Responds to phone and fax inquiries.
• Verifies patient benefits and eligibility for services.
• Obtains information required to process a prior authorization.
