Job summary

Nielsen Holdings Plc seeks a patent agent to join its Intellectual Property Team on a permanent basis. The agent will draft patents protecting technologies related to audience measurement and data science, collaborating with engineers and data scientists to build a world-class portfolio.

The role is fully remote/work from home (Midwest or Eastern time zones preferred).Responsibilities include drafting applications, prosecuting in-house with supervision, and supporting product teams with IP

Qualifications

• At least 2 years as patent agent with drafting patent applications and office actions.
• Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Registered to practice before the USPTO.
• In-house patent prep/prosecution experience valued.
• Experience with AI drafting tools valued.

Responsibilities

• Draft provisional and non-provisional utility patent applications in-house.
• Collaborate with inventors to evaluate disclosures.
