Kiva is a global nonprofit expanding financial access by engaging donors and philanthropic partners. The Manager, Strategic Partnerships cultivates major donors and advisory fund partners, crafting compelling proposals, reports, and donor communications while collaborating across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.

This remote US role requires strong writing, relationship-building, and independent program management.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex programs and impact data into compelling proposals, reports, and donor communications.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder relationships independently.
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce and digital engagement data to track activity, run reports, evaluate results, and refine strategies.

Responsabilités

• Cross-functional partnership development and donor engagement (30%). Gather impact data and borrower stories and translate into proposals, reports, newsletters, and donor materials.
• Maintain accurate donor records and track relationship activity, prospect pipelines, and progress toward fundraising and engagement goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to coordinate donor messaging across audiences and channels.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events with the Strategic Partnerships team to deepen engagement and generate qualified prospects.
