• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Arizona, California, New Jersey, or New York, in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive experience in commercial litigation and insurance defense.
• Extensive experience handling general liability, insurance defense, personal injury, and Labor Law matters.
• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters from initial investigation through trial, settlement, or appeal.
• Strong experience evaluating claims, developing case strategy, and advising clients and insurers on risk and resolution options.
• Significant deposition experience, including defending and taking witness, party, and expert depositions.
• Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other complex litigation documents.
• Comfortable managing complex matters independently while collaborating effectively with clients, carriers, and legal teams.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Prior experience with an Am Law 100/200 firm, Law360-ranked firm, respected regional firm, or sophisticated litigation boutique strongly preferred.
• Portable business of $350,000 or greater preferred, but not required.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills with exceptional attention to detail.
