Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Dedicated Producer Attorney for its Commercial Litigation & Insurance Defense Practice. This remote/flexible role targets handling complex disputes and high-exposure litigation across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar in NY/CA/NJ/AZ, and 5+ years of substantial experience with strong deposition and trial skills, plus a portable book of business preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Arizona, California, New Jersey, or New York, in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive experience in commercial litigation and insurance defense.
• Experience handling general liability, insurance defense, personal injury, and Labor Law matters.
• Ability to manage litigation from initial investigation through trial, settlement, or appeal.
• Strong experience evaluating claims, developing case strategy, and advising clients and insurers on risk and resolution options.
• Significant deposition experience, including defending and taking witness, party, and expert depositions.
• Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other complex litigation documents.
• Comfortable managing complex matters independently while collaborating with clients, carriers, and legal teams.
• Trial experience preferred and portable business of $350,000+ preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation and insurance defense matters through all stages of the litigation lifecycle.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies designed to achieve efficient and favorable client outcomes.
• Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages exposure, and provide strategic recommendations to clients and insurers.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, oversee discovery, and manage all aspects of case development.
• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate expert engagements.
• Represent clients at court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Collaborate closely with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and co-counsel to ensure effective case management.
• Maintain high standards of client service while managing multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience handling general liability, insurance defense, personal injury, and Labor Law matters
