Job summary

Optum Behavioral Care is seeking a Per Diem Virtual Therapist to join our telehealth team. You will provide remote behavioral health services using evidence-based practices to a diverse patient population across the United States.

Collaboration with care teams and supervision will support your work, with emphasis on documentation and patient safety. Work remotely from anywhere in the United States, maintain HIPAA privacy, and participate in regular trainings and Town Halls.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Current, active, unrestricted license in Washington (LCSW/LPC/LMHC/LMFT).
• Available to maintain 10–19 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote measurement informed care through evidence-based models of treatment.
• Monitor participant progress, provide follow-up communications and care coordination recommendations, and document session notes.
• Participate as a member of the care team and assist participants with resources, consent, and authorization forms.
• Identify and respond to high-risk participant encounters with elevated safety concerns per policy.
• Join regular meetings with supervisors and training sessions.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and complete annual training.
