Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a part-time proctor to provide certification, assessment, and distance education exam administration. The role includes proctor training, virtual proctor certification, and remote work when required, with occasional regional travel.

You will maintain records, adapt procedures for individuals, support CNA/QMA testing, and assist scheduling and customer inquiries while upholding a professional appearance and environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Current degree seeking Ivy Tech Community College students are ineligible for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide certification, assessment, and distance education exam administration according to proctor policies and procedures.
• Complete required proctor and employee training and stay current with exam protocol changes.
• Become certified in virtual proctoring and work from home when required.
• Provide limited hardware and software troubleshooting, including coordinating with instructors or vendor support.
• Maintain accurate records of all assessment services and report to college offices in a timely manner.
• Adjust testing procedures for individuals according to documentation from the DSS Coordinator.
• Schedule and proctor CNA/QMA exams with Health Sciences staff, with CNA/QMA duties prioritized.
• Travel regionally to proctor exams at events and community days as needed.
• Assist with scheduling center activity and respond to customer queries.
• Promote, demonstrate, and maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Help keep the assessment and certification centers organized, clean, and well supplied.
• Be flexible with hours during heavy testing volume and perform other duties as required.
