Job summary

America Needs You (ANY) is seeking a Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator to support digital storytelling by turning photos, videos, interviews, and updates into engaging social content. This fully remote role averages about 40 hours per month and collaborates with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing & Strategic Communications.

The ideal candidate is a creative content maker with a strong eye for design, Canva expertise for branded assets, and experience editing short-form video

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Canva for branded templates and content.
• Experience editing short-form video for LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Portfolio or three to five examples of relevant work required.

Responsibilities

• Create social media graphics, carousels, stories and event materials using Canva.
• Turn photos, videos, interviews, and campaign ideas into polished content.
• Develop content highlighting ANY’s mission, programs, students, events, and partnerships.
• Adapt content for different campaigns and platforms while maintaining brand alignment.
• Edit short-form videos for LinkedIn and Instagram with captions and branding.
• Maintain organized Canva templates and brand assets for reuse.
• Schedule and publish content across ANY’s social media platforms.
• Support social media strategy and editorial calendars with the team.
• Coordinate with staff to collect materials for content assignments.
