Job summary

Creative People is seeking a Social Media & Content Specialist to elevate our brand across Instagram and LinkedIn. This hybrid, part-time contract role requires hands-on storytelling, editing, and production from ideation to publishing.

You will edit short-form videos, design graphics, film content, and collaborate on original ideas while maintaining a consistent voice and in-office presence at least one day per week in Williamsburg.

Qualifications

• Experience editing short-form videos for social platforms.
• Ability to design polished graphics and carousels for Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Storytelling with a strong sense of brand voice.
• Reliable, proactive communicator who can meet deadlines and move fast.
• Willingness to work in-office at least 1 day per week in Williamsburg.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Design polished graphics and carousels using Canva, Figma, or similar tools.
• Film social content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Turn events, placements, open roles, and company updates into compelling social content.
• Collaborate on brainstorming and developing original content ideas.
• Write clear, conversational social copy that reflects the Creative People voice.
• Stay tapped into industry conversations, cultural moments, and social trends across marketing, design, branding, hiring, and careers.
• Occasionally appear on camera on behalf of Creative People.
• Capture photo and video content at select events and activations.
• Help manage the content calendar and move projects from concept through publishing.
• Review content performance and use insights to shape future ideas.
